CATL’s Naxtra Battery product line features two distinct models: the Naxtra passenger EV Battery and the Naxtra 24V Heavy-Duty Truck Integrated Start-Stop Battery. The passenger EV unit boasts an energy density of 175 Wh/kg, putting it on par with lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries and making it the highest energy density among sodium-ion batteries.
Designed for all-weather performance, the Naxtra Battery retains 90% usable power at -40°C and withstands heat up to 70°C. With a range of 500 kilometers and over 10,000 charging cycles, it reduces maintenance costs while ensuring reliability for electric vehicle users.
Naxtra Heavy-Duty Truck Battery
The second unit, Naxtra 24V Heavy-Duty Truck Integrated Start-Stop Battery, delivers unparalleled durability. Featuring an eight-year service life, it reduces lifecycle costs by 61% compared to traditional lead-acid batteries. In addition to the Naxtra line, CATL revealed the Shenxing Superfast Charging Battery. It features a peak charging power of 1.3 MW and achieves 2.5 kilometers of range per second of charging. The groundbreaking LFP system combines an 800-kilometer range with a 12C peak charging rate, minimizing charging wait times.
