This approach minimizes exposure to price volatility in raw materials and boosts domestic production.

The lack of scaled battery infrastructure in the U.S., coupled with China’s established dominance in production, poses significant barriers. Chinese companies like CATL and BYD leverage existing Lithium-ion production lines for sodium-ion materials, giving them a competitive edge.
