On February 21, the celebratory launch ceremony for JAC Yiwei’s first batch of 10,000 vehicles designated for export took place at the JAC Smart Factory in China. This batch includes 5,000 Yiwei 3 and 5,000 E10X Huaxianzi Sodium-ion Battery version electric hatchbacks.

The JAC Yiwei E10X Huaxianzi electric hatchback stands out with its cutting-edge cylindrical Sodium-ion Battery pack, supplied by Beijing-based HiNa Battery. The vehicle employs JAC’s UE (Unitized Encapsulation) honeycomb technology for enhanced safety and performance. With dimensions measuring 3650/1670/1540 mm and a 2390 mm wheelbase, the E10X offers a 230 km CLTC cruising range. Fast charging capabilities allow it to charge from 10% to 80% in just 20 minutes.
JAC Yiwei 3 Overview
The JAC Yiwei 3, launched in June 2023, offers an impressive design and performance package. It’s equipped with a 70 kW front electric motor and a 41 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack in the low-power version, achieving a 405 km cruising range. Alternatively, the high-power version features a 100 kW motor and a 51.5 kWh battery, extending the range to 505 km.
These vehicles are significant contributors to JAC’s growth, with the company reporting a 51.91% year-on-year increase in vehicle sales in January 2024. Moreover, the company’s vehicle exports surged by 66.85% year-on-year.
