Chebaihui Research Institute projects that Sodium-ion Battery shipments across all applications could exceed 100 GWh by 2030.
Morgan Stanley forecasts a sharp decrease in costs as supply chain capacity expands over the next three years. Once the industry reaches 100 GWh in capacity, sodium-ion batteries could become more than 30% less expensive than lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries.
